Carissa Moore’s Childhood The future champion was born on August 27 in Honolulu. Growing up in one of the world’s best surfing locations, she had an environment perfect for learning surfing. Her father, her early coach, introduced her to surfing at an early stage of childhood. Together they spent long hours practicing. These early experiences
